Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply and extend to all Entertainment for Change, Inc. (“EFC”) online classes, offerings, and subscriptions (“Offerings”). Students who sign-up, register for, or subscribe to any of our content, classes or other Offerings are subject to these terms and conditions.

Entertainment for Change, Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is dedicated to educating young people about how they can utilize the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals through the power of the arts and entertainment.

Entertainment for Change, Inc. is committed to providing a safe and inclusive space for young children and teens. We reserve our right to refuse to conduct business with anyone who does not follow our policies, terms and conditions, officially or unofficially, in full.

Your agreement to comply with this document also implies and constitutes, without any exceptions, that you agree to this full list of terms and conditions that governing the conducting of business with Entertainment for Change, Inc. in any type of capacity.

Copyright:

Entertainment for Change, Inc reserves all copyrights and intellectual property rights in and to all intellectual property made available by EFC through the Offerings to the fullest extent of the law. Teachers agree that they cannot record, photograph, distribute, share, copy or scan any of our Offerings, including virtual classroom activities, methodologies, art or student work/thoughts/verbal language, in a professional or personal capacity, utilizing any type of publication, platform, communication methods or distribution efforts or services. If teachers feel it would be beneficial to have any form of video/photo, they will communicate with parents and legal guardians of all kids/teens involved in advance to respect and honor privacy.

Ethical business conduct:

We require respectful, ethical, lawful and professional business conduct at all times, from both our teachers and students. You agree not to misrepresent our business or damage our reputation or business in any way, shape or form. You may not use our business as a platform for promoting yourself or your art and you may not usurp our business with other individuals, businesses or organizations in any way, shape or form. You may never represent, promote or create anything on behalf of our business or claim unauthorized endorsements from us in any way, shape or form.

All work you do with us, all homework, must be the student’s original work.· On behalf of your student, we encourage you to support them honoring class-times and meeting times, and communicate to us if you will not be coming to class. We refer to the terms of conditions of ZOOM and PayPal, and hold the platforms accountable for any liability in terms of privacy and payment. Safe studio practice and liability:

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Entertainment for Change, Inc. it’s teachers, partners, and vendors, of any liability they may suffer or incur during class time. We are not responsible for carrying insurance of any kind on your behalf and you will be responsible for your child’s safety. Entertainment for Change, Inc. is committed to collaborating with thoughtful independent contractors (artists/teachers) and as an entity, is not liable for individual behaviors. We are not liable for any medical and / or other types of unforeseen events or emergencies and will follow industry practices in such instances.

Classroom / online conduct:

We have a zero tolerance policy regarding bullying, lewd or disrespectful conduct, or harassment of any kind in person or online – this also covers, but is not limited to, our assistants, contractors, family members, friends, other students, property, facilities or online classroom environments. We encourage our students to attend any and all classes with a positive attitude, ready to learn and we do not tolerate bad learning attitudes or habits. If a class needs to be cancelled, discontinued or postponed, we will reach out directly. We are always committed to staying as communicative as possible. Scheduling, commencement, and continuation of any classes must be honored according to all our terms and conditions. Failure to do so may result in cancelled classes without reimbursement.


Payments and Communications:
You must honor all our payment and communications policies and procedures as required for any specific transaction of any kind. Payments and communications are required online via our site (PayPal). Payment will not be accepted unless contract agreements are signed and / or terms and conditions, as stipulated, are agreed upon in writing or by marking such as agreed upon online.

 

Final Disclosures:

It is understood that Entertainment for Change, Inc. does not offer any degrees nor are we an accredited academic institution. Entertainment for Change, Inc. reserves the right to change / update and adjust our policies, terms and conditions as we may see fit at any time and these changes will be binding. Parents, legal guardians, and students will be notified when any significant changes in policy, terms and conditions are ever effectuated.
